Terms of Use

This page is maintained by the owner of Sidekick Services to explain how the app works. It is app-owned content, not an independent certification or legal advice.

1. What Sidekick Services is

Sidekick Services is a listing and booking platform. Providers publish services, share their own payment handles, and receive booking or song requests from customers. We are not an employer, staffing agency, or party to any agreement between a customer and a provider.

2. We are not a payment processor

Sidekick Services does not process, hold, escrow, refund, or verify any payments. Tips and deposits are sent directly from the customer to the provider through third-party apps (such as Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or Apple Cash) using handles the provider supplies. We never collect card or bank account details. Any confirmation code, receipt, or earnings report produced in the app is a record of what was entered in the app — it is not an invoice, a proof of payment, or a tax document.

3. Provider responsibilities

Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, rates, availability, and payment handles; for delivering the services they accept; for any licenses, insurance, or permits their work requires; and for reporting and paying their own taxes.

4. Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for confirming details with the provider, sending payment to the correct handle, and resolving disputes directly with the provider. Because payments happen outside the app, we cannot reverse, recover, or guarantee them.

5. Acceptable use

Do not post unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading listings, impersonate another person or business, or use the app to harass others. Listings and accounts that break these rules may be removed.

6. No warranty

The app and everything in it, including estimated earnings figures, is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Estimates are generated from activity recorded in the app and may not match what was actually paid.
